Did you love to read when you were a kid? Zach and I grew up with a love of reading. We are proud bookworms and hope to pass that on to our children.
I have always loved Dr. Seuss. So we got a subscription for Dr. Seuss & His Friends books from Early Moments to start a library. We get three new children’s books each month. I remember some of the books we’ve gotten from when I was little and others are new to me.
I’m excited to see which books our son loves. And I’m pretty sure he’s going to be a book nerd just like his mom and dad. What was your favorite book growing up?
Awesome, I love Seuss! I actually was lucky enough to inherit most my children’s books from when I was little so I have nice worn in collection in the works… But no children… I am hoping to become an auntie soon.
Favorite book? You meant Books, right? One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss. The Boxcar Children, The Little’s, Helen Keller, Paul Bunyan, Miss Hickory, The Hardy Boys series, all the fairy tale books, ghost stories, and I loved the Sears catalog because it had a huge toy section. I could live in a library or bookstore and just read, eat and sleep. The perfect life. : )
Hands down — fave Dr Seuss book, one fish, two fish! love the library you’re building! 😉
