The Midtown Food Truck Fest takes place the third weekend of each month at Valley View Center in Dallas. This weekend the fun begins at 5 p.m. Friday.
Thirty or more food trucks from Texas and Oklahoma are participating. You can find the all the good stuff on the ground floor of J.C. Penney and under the parking garage, which will be equipped with misters. Hooray for a break from the heat!
Find test kitchens near Subway in the lower level of the mall. Test kitchen chefs are considering starting food truck businesses and testing their menus. These kitchens will rotate with each fest, according to the website, so you will want to check out the new goodness each month.
In addition to the deliciousness, the Midtown Food Truck Fest will feature live music, bounce houses, a mechanical bull and more. And be sure to check out the ArtFest 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, July 21. You can browse crafts and reproductions from local artists and artisans while you’re making room for more food truck treats.
Just a few of the trucks you can (and should) try at this weekend’s Fest: Rockstar Bakeshop, Enticed, Three Lions.
