Until this week, I had only shipped to buyers in the United States. I have my store set up this way to keep my prices down. I don’t want to charge too much for shipping, which can be costly once borders are crossed.
Then I got a special request. A buyer found me on Etsy and wanted to get two knitted baby hats – in South Korea.
As I read the request, I considered the potential problems with shipping fees. Soon, however, the customer was offering to pay extra to provide for shipping as well. So I made my first international sale. I can’t wait to see where my next buyer is located!
